Year 2 - Branch 5 - To the ends of the Earth

Year 2 children will explore the power of the Holy Spirit through key Bible stories, including Jesus’ Ascension, Pentecost, and the conversion of Saul. They will learn how the Holy Spirit brings love, joy, peace, and other fruits that shape Christian lives. Through art and prayer, they’ll discover symbols like wind, fire, and the dove, and see how saints like St Francis of Assisi lived out these gifts. Children will reflect on how the fruits of the Spirit—kindness, patience, and generosity—can help them and others, while joining in prayers like Come Holy Spirit to welcome God’s love into their hearts.
